I’ve never used Photoshop layer comps (mostly because I have never heard of them until today), but they are cool!
Layer comps (short for “layer compositions”) essentially allow you to store multiple arrangements of layers within the same file (instead of duplicating layers and creating new files).
The best resource I found for learning about layer comps is this 6 minute video…just skip the long 30 second intro.
